As the owner of Caring Transitions of Hinsdale, IL, I’m proud to serve the western suburbs of Chicago where I was born and raised. After more than two decades in corporate communications—handling everything from crisis management to executive messaging—I decided to pivot toward something more personal and impactful. Helping families through life’s transitions, particularly seniors and their loved ones, is now my focus, and I’m passionate about providing compassionate, expert support during what can be an overwhelming time.

My decision to open a Caring Transitions franchise was inspired by my own experience transitioning my parents from their longtime home into a continuing care community. It was an exhausting, emotional process that I took on with my sister and partner, and I often wished for a trusted service to guide us through it. Now, I strive to be that resource for others, especially those in the “sandwich generation” who are balancing care for both aging parents and children—something I know firsthand as a mom of twin teenage daughters.

Alongside my partner, Paul Garcia, who brings valuable experience from his work in home care, I offer a full-service approach to downsizing, relocation, and estate sales. I’m also deeply committed to sustainability, and through CTBids, I help clients rehome meaningful items while reducing waste. Whether guiding a family through a move or helping them manage an estate, my goal is to ease the burden and ensure every client feels supported, respected, and empowered.
